Climate Impact Chains: Making climate risks visible and actionable 

Climate risks do not result from hazards alone. They emerge from the interaction between climate events and the exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity of human and natural systems.  

To better capture this complexity, the VALORADA project develops Climate Impact Chains (CICs) as a framework to understand how climate change translates into concrete, local risks.
